IBEW Local 357 Las Vegas: Friday Short Calls, Book 1 at 645

⚡ IBEW 357 Job Calls & Local 357 Dispatch (Las Vegas, NV) β€” 127 Open Calls, $60.83/hr →

The Local 357 dispatch page on November 5, 2026 lists seven calls, and those lines add to 128 people. The local record's first line still says 127. Freeman wants 121 of them for Friday short calls at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The page does not print an hourly rate or an hour count, so this guide does not turn the Friday calls into a weekly paycheck. Book 1 for journeyman wiremen is 645 and Book 2 is 93, from the Wednesday, November 4 note on that page. The live board is on the Local 357 page. GoHereBro tracks 300 IBEW locals.

What the hall page lists

The exact search "ibew local 357" does not show GoHereBro in the top 10. The hall's UnionActive site is number 1. Local 357 is still the live board, and Search Console already shows that page around position 6.9 with a 1.1% click rate on 2,277 impressions. This guide explains the calls. It will go stale. Open the local page before you drive.

The seven lines on the dispatch page add to 128. The morning record says 127 open positions across those same seven calls. The lines are one person higher than that summary, so both numbers are here and 128 is not a new official total. The last 30 days of scrapes saw as many as 171.

Freeman wants 63 journeyman wiremen Friday at 4:00 PM at LVCC Central Hall, outside Door 6, short call. Freeman wants 50 journeyman wiremen Friday at 4:00 PM at LVCC West Hall, south end of the loading dock, short call. Freeman wants 5 journeyman wiremen Friday at 4:00 PM at Central Hall, outside Door 6, with a boom, short call. Freeman wants 3 journeyman wiremen Friday at 5:00 PM at the West Hall loading dock, possible bump, certified rigger, short call. That is 121 Freeman hands, all short calls.

The long calls are smaller. Conti wants 5 journeyman wiremen Thursday at 9:30 AM to the shop. Dynalectric wants 1 journeyman wireman Thursday at 9:30 AM to the shop, with a boom and a scissor lift. Morse Electric wants 1 installer technician Thursday at 9:30 AM to the shop, with fire alarm experience. The page says all times are Pacific.

Every call on the page requires two forms of ID, drug testing, and a valid OSHA 10 for construction. Certifications have to be valid and in hand. Many calls also require a PV certification. The 3-person Freeman line requires a certified rigger.

Books, scale, and what is not priced

The Wednesday, November 4 note on the same page says journeyman wireman long calls went to Book 2, position 29. Short calls that day were none. The next short call starts at Book 1, position 1. Book 1 has 645. Book 2 has 93. The same note prints other books, including senior technician Book 1 at 45 and Book 2 at 7, and installer Book 1 at 41 and Book 2 at 1.

The dispatch page does not print an hourly wage. The local record lists $60.83 from a member submission on August 19, 2026, and that figure is still marked as needing a hall sheet. It is not on the calls, and a Friday short call does not print its hours, so $60.83 is not a Friday total and it is not in a weekly table. Health and welfare on that same submission is $9.60, with a defined pension of $6.76 and a contribution pension of $5.96. Those amounts are not on the dispatch page either.

The out-of-work book can be signed in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, closed 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM for lunch. Re-sign days are the 10th through the 16th. The job hotline on the hall site is 702-459-7070. The hall is at 808 North Lamb Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89110, and the phone on the page is 702-452-9357. The Nevada pay page and the pay hub sit next to the calls. Hot spots and the map cover the rest of the 300 locals. Start at the homepage for the daily board, and use compare when you are stacking this hall against another directory. The wage explainer is the national version of a 40-hour week. Book 2 travel is the signup path. This Friday work is short-call work, not that 40-hour week.

Nevada rules, then Reno

NRS chapter 624 is the contractor statute. It defines a contractor as synonymous with a builder. It is not the dispatch page's worker list. The worker list on the hall page is two forms of ID, a drug test, a valid OSHA 10 for construction, and certifications in hand. OSHA's construction outreach page is the program that covers the 10-hour and 30-hour construction classes. The longer Reno writeup is the Local 401 traveler guide.

Reno Local 401 already has that guide. The card above is the live Reno board.
