LU-613 Atlanta, GA is moving fast with 429 open calls at $42.00/hr across multiple data center hall builds in Fayetteville and Hampton. Miller, Inglett and Stubbs, and Whitehead Electric are the primary hirers, running 4-10s plus optional or mandatory Saturday 8s. Orientations for some calls are limited to specific days, so call ahead before heading in.
LU-26 Washington, DC has 411 open calls at $62.00/hr with aggressive schedules. JE Richards is running 58-60 hour weeks across Manassas, Fredericksburg, and Sterling with 2 hours of daily OT plus Saturday work. All JE Richards calls require a drug test, background check, and 2-day safety training. OSHA 10 or 30 required depending on the call.
LU-494 Milwaukee, WI has 207 open calls at $52.51/hr plus $10/hr over scale at the Port Washington Data Center, where Gurtz, Cupertino, and MJ Electric are each running 50-60 hour weeks. Wisconsin electrical license and drug test required for all three. Westphal Electric at Oak Creek Power Plant is paying $60/hr on 5-10s with a reported $1,050/week add-on.
LU-354 Salt Lake City, UT shows 130 open calls at $46.22/hr. The standout is Winward Electrical Services at QTS Eagle Mountain, offering scale plus a $225 incentive per 10-hour day Monday through Friday and $225 on Saturday OT. Cache Valley Electric has the largest call count at Proctor and Gamble in Corrine, running 6-10s with possible 12s and potential night work.
LU-481 Indianapolis, IN has 110 open calls at $48.80/hr, but the best-paying call is Industrial Electric at Ingredion on Dover Street at $54.75/hr (12% above scale) on 5-8s with spotty OT. Long call, drug test required. Slim pickings for volume but good individual call quality.
LU-575 Portsmouth, OH is dominated by a 97-JW call from TSG at North Campus Amazon in Jeffersonville on 4-10s plus a weekly 8 and spotty Saturdays at $41.35/hr. OSHA 10 required. Blattner has 9 JWs needed at Palomino Solar with $100/day per diem but requires an Ohio primary address. Most calls start Monday, September 21.
LU-405 Cedar Rapids, IA is one of the strongest markets in the snapshot. CST, Cupertino, and Baker Group are all paying $54.73/hr with 2x OT at EWD and QTS data centers, running 6-10s and 5-10s with Saturday work. CST also has a 2nd shift call with a 17.3% shift differential on top of the premium rate. OSHA 10 or 30 and a JW A license required.
LU-640 Phoenix, AZ has 94 open calls at $42.15/hr led by Rosendin Electric with multiple large JW calls. Low Voltage Contractors and Cannon and Wendt are hiring teledata techs. Call detail on individual job sites was limited in this dispatch.
LU-917 Meridian, MS has 90 open calls through Rosendin Electric at Compass Data Center on 4-10s plus 2-8s. Pay is $42.85/hr with 2x OT if 90% of available hours are worked. Night shift pays an additional 17.3% differential. Day and night orientations run this weekend. Fit for Duty test and two forms of ID required.
LU-401 Reno, NV has 76 open calls at $52.00/hr base but top calls pay significantly more. Briggs Electric at Edgecore in Carson City pays $62/hr straight time, $67 OT, and $72 double time
