LU-613 Atlanta, GA is running hot with 500 open calls and 60 active jobs, most centered on QTS data centers in Fayetteville and the Hampton Shop. Top schedules run 4-10s plus weekend 8s, with 6am or 6:30am starts across most contractors. The standout call is Jingoli Nuclear Services at Plant Yates in Newnan, paying $57.00/hr plus $178/day per diem for eligible travelers living more than 150 miles out, on a 6-10s Monday through Saturday schedule. Book 1 sits at 920 and Book 2 at 35, so travelers should call early.
LU-26 Washington, DC carries 412 open calls across Northern Virginia data centers in Manassas, Culpeper, Fredericksburg, and multiple other sites. Base scale is $62.00/hr, and most jobs include meaningful overtime, with JE Richards at MDC Manassas running 60-hour weeks with two daily OT hours Monday through Friday plus a 10-hour Saturday. FIS is offering $125/day per diem on top of scale for data center work at various VA locations. Background checks, drug tests, and AWS or OSHA credentials are common requirements here.
LU-60 San Antonio, TX shows 361 open calls with Big State dominating the board, pulling nearly 290 workers across journeyman installer and apprentice classifications in the San Antonio area. Base scale is $39.00/hr, and most calls require an OSHA card, drug test, and Texas TDLR electrical license. Alterman has night work on 5-11s Monday through Friday for those who prefer shift work. Book 1 is only 56 deep with Book 2 at 2, making this a solid market for travelers who hold the required state license.
LU-494 Milwaukee, WI is concentrated at the Port Washington Data Center, where Gurtz Electric, Cupertino Electric, and MJ Electric are each calling 10 to 30 inside journeymen at $62.51/hr on weeks ranging from 50 to 60 hours. A Wisconsin electrical license, a drug test, and physical government-issued ID documents are required across all three Port Washington calls. Wil-Surge has a long call in Milwaukee proper at scale, and Tri-City Electric is also active at Port Washington, making this one of the most work-dense single-site concentrations on today's board.
LU-405 Cedar Rapids, IA offers 108 open calls with the top money in the snapshot, as CST at the EWD Data Center and Cupertino at QTS are both paying $54.73/hr with all overtime at double time on 5-10s and 6-10s schedules. An Iowa Journeyman A license is required for most JW calls. NTI is running a VDV tech call at QTS at roughly 68 hours per week, onboarding Mondays. Munson Electric has two 4-person calls at Rockwell Collins sites in Cedar Rapids and Coralville at $54.73/hr, both reporting as soon as possible.
Overall, the data center build cycle continues to drive the strongest call volumes and highest wages across all five markets, with travelers holding state licenses and OSHA credentials in the best position to work immediately.
